How to install
5 minutes, step by step
- Download. Click the download button above. A file named
lens-0.2.5.zip will be saved.
- Unzip. Open the downloaded file to extract it into a folder. On Mac - double-click it. On Windows - right-click and choose Extract All.
- Open the extensions page. In Chrome, type
chrome://extensions in the address bar and press Enter.
- Developer mode. In the top-right corner, turn on the Developer mode toggle.
- Load it. Click Load unpacked and select the folder you extracted in step 2.
- Done! 🎉 The Lens icon appears at the top. Open any article and click it.
Important: don't delete or move the folder you extracted - Chrome loads the extension directly from it. Keep it somewhere permanent (e.g. your Documents folder).
